Join us for the launch of the Global Call to Action on Strengthening Water and Sanitation Regulatory Systems, a high-level event mobilising commitment across sectors to improve regulatory water and sanitation systems worldwide.

This virtual event will highlight the role of regulation in delivering equitable, safe, and climate-resilient water and sanitation services. It will bring together speakers from regulatory bodies, development banks, governments, utilities, youth networks, and civil society.

Learning objectives

At the end of this event, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the key messages and recommendations of the Global Call to Action on Strengthening Water and Sanitation Regulation.
  • Recognise the role of effective regulatory systems in achieving equitable, climate-resilient, and sustainable WASH services.
  • Gain insights from diverse stakeholders—including regulators, utilities, financial institutions, youth, and civil society—on regional priorities and practical approaches to regulatory reform.
  • Identify opportunities for engagement and action in support of the Call to Action at national, regional, or organisational levels.
  • Connect with global networks and partners involved in advancing regulatory transformation in the WASH sector.
  • Contribute feedback and questions to inform the ongoing dissemination and implementation of the Call to Action.
